Our temporaries conduct their work on the premises of client organisations. The success of any health & safety programme or policy is that the responsibility is shared by all parties, salt, our clients and our temporary employees.

Responsibility:

  • Will respond quickly to any health & safety issues brought to their attention
  • We will consult our temporary employees on health & safety matters that affect them
  • Provide adequate training, information and instruction to all temporary employees
  • Provide a safe working environment and ensure that working arrangements are not hazardous
  • Will record, report and investigate all accidents/incidents and hazards in an appropriate manner
  • Provide procedures for temporaries where emergencies may occur whilst in the workplace
  • Ensure that all equipment and work systems used in the work environment are suitable for the planned purpose and meet safety requirements.

Our Client as “Principals”:

  • Take all practicable steps to ensure that the staff of any contractor (salt) or subcontractor is not harmed whilst performing any work the contractor is engaged to do.

Temporary Employee:

  • Personal Protective Clothing & Equipment to wear and use all equipment and clothing issued
  • Hazards & Accidents report any unsafe conditions or accidents/incidents immediately
  • Communicate with salt should you have any health and safety issues or queries
  • Work safe conduct work in a manner that does not adversely effect your own health and safety
  • or cause harm to anyone else
  • Guidelines make sure you understand the health & safety policies and procedures of salt
