As a sales consultant in this team your role will encompass all aspects of vendor attraction and management. Developing relationships with existing clients will be key – this is a competitive market and you need to be first in line for the pump! Once you’ve secured the vendor you’ll then need to think laterally about where your buyers will come from. As a natural networker with a down to earth approach you’ll enjoy the consulting required in this role.

You’ll need to fuel up for this busy role. The Commercial and Industrial branch manages all auctions not related to cars and trucks for Turners. This means you will be involved in selling everything from retail product and fitout, heavy machinery, boats, furniture and software. Ideally you’ll have a mechanical or technical background as you’ll be providing quotes and valuations on all manner of equipment. We certainly don’t expect you to be an expert but it is a hands on role and your interest in this area will help.

Be prepared to travel and work the odd weekend. This team are committed to hitting their KPI’s and will do what it takes to get those sales across the line. In return for your hard work the remuneration package will include a car, laptop and cell phone. There is an incentive structure in place which is achievable and will have a healthy impact on the dollars you earn. On the job training from an experienced Branch manager and a good client portfolio will get you started on the right foot.
