Below are some of the organisations and activities Salt are involved with;

  • RCSA (Recruitment & Consulting Services Association) – Trans Tasman industry body. As an industry member we abide by the Code of Professional Practice which governs our industry and provides protection for all the stakeholders who engage our services and requires our adherence to the legislation outlined. All our consultants are accredited professionals.
  • EEO (Equal Employment Opportunities) Trust – member. Jacqui works actively with the EEO trust to develop tools for the recruitment industry to ensure we abide by both ethical and professional practices.
  • RIB (Recruitment Industry Benchmarking) – member. Salt are members of RIB, participating in the recruitment industry bench marking for productivity and financial data. RIB collects data for both New Zealand and Australian companies and provides feedback on our position vs. our competitors and the best in class.
  • FRCSA – Jacqui Barratt the Salt Director is the Recruitment Consulting Services Association Board Director our governing Trans-Tasman industry body and was the past president for the RCSA in NZ. Jacqui is also holds Fellow status of the RCSA. All our consultants are accredited members.
  • HRINZ (Human Resources Institute of New Zealand) member

In the world of temping and contracting, the timesheet is your best friend! You must remember to complete it at the end of each week or at the end of every assignment if less than a week.

In order to be paid on time, you must:

  • Fill out your hours,
  • Check that they are added up correctly
  • Sign the timesheet
  • Have your Manager or the person you have been reporting to, sign the timesheet as well

Make sure you take a copy and then give the original to your Manager.

If you are contracting with Salt, please ensure the timesheet is attached to your invoice.

Once you have checked that everything is completed correctly you then need to send it through to us.

If you are not feeling well or not able to go into work, please ensure you call us immediately on +64 9 968 8470 in New Zealand or +61 2 8293 5000 in Australia. We are open from 7.30am - 5.30pm in New Zealand and 8.30am - 6.00pm in Australia. You can leave a message on our voicemail outside of these hours.

We are always open between 7.30am and 5.30pm in New Zealand and 8.30am - 6.00pm in Australia, however we know that sometimes people need to interview outside of standard business hours. That’s why our consultants are flexible and will work with you to find a suitable time and place to meet.
